Erich Steinmetz

Steinmetz originally joined the Corban University athletic training staff in August of 2021 during the COVID-19 pandemic, and was hired on a full-time basis as the Assistant Athletic Trainer in the winter of 2022. He attained his undergraduate in 2005 from Oregon State University and his masters in sports medicine in 2018 from University of Western States. 

Steinmetz also serves as a Practicum Supervisor for University of Western States Master’s in Sports Medicine Program and has acquired many years of experience working within chiropractic sports medicine clinics.

He has volunteered for USA Track and Field working the Olympic Trials and the Prefontaine Classic. Additionally, he volunteers for Maccabi USA where he was part of the sports medicine team for the Pan Am Maccabi Games in 2019 in Mexico City, and was a member of the sports medicine team for the Maccabiah Games in Israel in July 2022..

Steinmetz resides in West Salem with his wife Rhonda and two children, Isaac and Raquel.
