Former Western Baptist coach and National Division I Christian College "Coach of the Year." Eight time regional Coach of the Year. His teams one back-to-back in NCCAA Division I championships at Tennessee Temple University. He spent 11 seasons as the Head coach of California Baptist University NCAA Division 2 (now Division I) where he became the second in all time win- loss record in school history.

While coaching at Corban/Western Baptist his teams had the highest winning percentage since joining the NAIA, and record (162-87). His teams have qualified for over 27 postseason district, regional or national playoffs with 11 teams having participated in National tournaments. Coach Collins has coached over 25 All conference players and sent numerous players to play overseas in Europe and other countries. Coach Collins had two stints at Western Baptist / Corban University his teams averaged 23 wins per season. Most recently his teams won back-to-back National Championships 2013- 14 and 2014-15 Division 1 in the country of Luxembourg. He was selected National Coach of the year in 2013-14 and was honored to coach in the All-Star games.
