Warriors Open Competition Friday at Pacific Twilight

FINAL RESULTS

FOREST GROVE, Ore. – Corban's men's track & field team opened competition at the Pacific Twilight Friday with a quartet of Warriors competing in three events that included a Top 10 finish in the javelin.

Freshman John Weber and junior John Trimble began the night in the 3,000 meter steeplechase, as Weber finished 11th thanks to a time of 10:11.16 and Trimble was 13th after posting a time of 10:20.55.

In the hammer throw, freshman Jack Lander finished 27th overall after unleashing a throw of 32.79 meters (107-feet, 7-inches). Fellow freshman Zach Conlee did not register any distance, as he cross over the line on all three attempts resulting in a foul.

Finally, sophomore Jordan Hatfield placed seventh overall in the javelin with a throw of 51.83 meters (170-feet), which came within 4.25 meters (13-feet, 11.50-inches) off earning the NAIA's "B" qualification mark.

Corban's men's track & field team will continue competing at this weekend's Pacific Twilight tomorrow – Saturday, April 28th – beginning at 10:00 a.m. in Forest Grove.
