FINAL RESULTS
FOREST GROVE, Ore. – Corban's men's track & field team set a new stadium and meet record in the 4x800 meter relay to win the event, as the Warriors' 4x400 meter relay team also set a new school-record Saturday on the final day of the Pacific Twilight.

Jacob Bowdoin, and senior
Caleb Goins won the 4x800 meter relay thanks to a school-record time of 7:49.80. Corban set a new meet and stadium record bettering The College of Idaho's old mark of 7:51.60 that was set during the 2010 season by almost two seconds.
In the race prior to the 4x800 relay, Corban's 4x400 meter relay team of freshman
Brett Johnson, freshman
Jacob Ybarra, junior
Bryce Petersen, and freshman
Nathan Swanson also broke the school-record thanks to a third place finish with a time of 3:18.75.
Johnson would begin the day for the Warriors in the 100 meter dash, as he finished tied for seventh after clocking a time of 11.22 seconds that was 0.70 seconds ahead of freshman teammate
Chris Doxtator, who finished 25th with a time of 11.92 seconds.
In the 200 meter dash, senior Eric Cronrath was 22nd overall after clocking a time of 23.69 seconds.
A quintet of Warriors – Swanson, Ybarra, Petersen, Cronrath, and freshman
Seth West – would compete in the 400 meter dash, as Swanson led the Corban runners with a runner-up finish thanks to a time of 49.21 seconds. The remaining quartet all finished under 53 seconds, as Ybarra and Petersen were in the Top 10 thanks to times of 50.23 and 51.06 seconds.
In the 110 meter hurdles, sophomores
Kyle Croft and
Jordan Hatfield finished sixth and 12th, respectively, with times of 16.23 and 17.12 seconds.
The aforementioned duo of Croft and Hatfield would also compete alongside sophomore
Chris McGehee and Doxtator in the 400 meter hurdles, as all four Warriors finished in the Top 10 thanks to times of 56.59, 58.03, 1:01.08, and 1:02.19.
Corban's 4x100 meter relay team would be the final track competitors for the Warriors, as the quartet of Johnson, Ybarra, Doxtator, and Swanson turned in a fourth place showing with a combined team time of 43.05 seconds.
In the long jump, Ybarra finished fourth overall with a leap of 6.37 meters (20-feet, 10.75-inches) and Hatfield was 10th overall thanks to a jump of 6.03 meters (19-feet, 9.50-inches).
The freshman duo of
Zach Conlee and
Jack Lander would compete in the shot put, as Conlee finished 12th overall with a throw of 12.48 meters (40-feet, 11.50-inches) and Lander was 21st overall with a mark of 11.34 meters (37-feet, 2.50-inches).
In the final event for the Warriors, Lander and junior
Taylor Wilkins took part in the discus with Lander finishing 28th overall with a throw of 33.77 meters (110-feet, 9-inches) compared to a throw of 33.69 meters (110-feet, 6-inches) by Wilkins that was good enough for 29th overall.
A handful of Warriors will compete in the final regular season meet of the year next Friday, May 4th, at the Linfield Twilight beginning at noon in McMinnville.
