SALEM, Ore. – Warrior Athletics has the privilege to partner with the Office of Alumni and Family Relations for the first-ever 'Homecoming and Family Weekend', set to take place during the October 2nd-5th weekend.  As a part of the Homecoming Weekend, the 'Fifth Quarter Sports' event on Saturday, October 4, will serve as the showcase event for Warrior Athletics as alumni, families, and students are invited to enjoy food and athletics in a family-fun-filled environment.

'Fifth Quarter Sports' will begin at 2:45 p.m. in the grass triangle area between the soccer and baseball fields.  We would love to see you there!  The Corban University women's soccer team competes against conference rival, Southern Oregon University, that day at 1 p.m., and the Warrior men's soccer team takes on conference opponent, Warner Pacific College, at 4 p.m.  The 'Fifth Quarter Sports' event will provide the opportunity for fans to enjoy a warm bowl of chili, a variety of toppings and a beverage in between matches – all for just $5.00.  Tickets will be available for purchase at the event.  In addition, it will give everyone the chance to meet Corban University President Sheldon Nord, Athletic Director Greg Eide, and Corban University's head coaches.

Corban Athletics is excited to provide many alumni and family members the opportunity to see and hear the exciting direction that Warrior Athletics is headed and the prospect of spending time with family, friends, alumni, and Corban Athletics' coaches.  In addition, the Official Corban Warriors backdrop will be available to everyone in attendance to get their official "Corban Warriors" photo taken with friends, coaches, family, and alumni.

President Nord is scheduled to speak to everyone in attendance at 3:15 p.m., and when the event is finished at 4 p.m., guests, coaches, and President Nord will head to the soccer field to cheer on the Warrior men's soccer team.

Fans and alumni are encouraged to get to Warrior Field early and watch the entire women's soccer contest prior to the start of the 'Fifth Quarter Sports' event, and following the conclusion of the family-fun affair, the pivotal men's soccer match will provide another opportunity for everyone to see what Warrior Athletics is producing on the field.
