No. 22 Corban Volleyball Finishes Regular Season Strong with Four-Set Win at SOU

ASHLAND, Ore. – Not wanting to let up at all, the No. 22-ranked Corban University volleyball team continued its string of wins in the second half of the Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) regular season, stretching its win streak to close the year at eight consecutive matches. On Saturday night against Southern Oregon University, the Warriors downed the Raiders in four sets (25-18, 23-25, 25-20, 25-20), completing the regular-season sweep of the Raiders.

"Tonight's match was tough against the well-coached Raiders," said Corban head coach Kim McLain. "I was proud of the girls and how they battled to finish our final conference match."

Corban (21-5, 17-3 CCC) returns to the court on Friday, November 11, when it will take on one of the winners from the CCC Tournament Quarterfinal matches. While playing as the No. 2 seed, first serve is set for 4 p.m. on Friday. Corban, as the No. 2 seed, received the first-round bye in the tournament and advanced directly to the semifinals, hosted by No. 1-seeded Eastern Oregon University. Stay tuned for full details on the matchup prior to Friday.
