LA GRANDE, Ore. – The Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) announced its 2016 volleyball coaches' preseason poll on Thursday morning, ranking all 11 teams from top to bottom prior to the start of the upcoming campaign. With 77 total points, Corban was picked to finish in fifth place, mirroring where the Warriors finished in the 2015 regular-season standings.

In order to rise up and exceed the conference expectations, the Warriors will look for their returning All-Conference trio to lead the way. Juniors Amber Parker (Albany, Ore.) and Haley Wells (Albany, Ore.) will lead the way offensive and defensively, while sophomore Madison McLain (Albany, Ore.) is set for another big year as Corban's primary setter. Parker received NAIA All-America honors in 2015, while Wells was named the CCC Defensive Player of the Year and McLain the CCC Freshman of the Year.

Coming off of its 14-13 overall record and 12-8 mark in conference play, Corban sits behind Northwest University who is in fourth place with 93 points in the vote. Then, the top-three teams are led by Eastern Oregon University in first place with 117 points and nine first-place votes, while College of Idaho is in second with 103 points and Southern Oregon University is in third place with 102 total points.

Behind Corban is Oregon Tech at 60 points, while Warner Pacific College and Northwest Christian University round out the top eight teams.
