SALEM, Ore. – The Corban University basketball teams are set to host Coaches vs. Cancer Suits and Sneakers Night on January 25th when Northwest Christian University is in town. The evening is a part of the Suits & Sneakers Week that is a nationwide event that unites coaches across the country to raise awareness about the American Cancer Society's lifesaving mission, and promote the American Cancer Society as a place for help and support.
While coaching games during the week, coaches wear sneakers with their game attire as a visible reminder about the importance of nutrition and physical activity in reducing cancer risk.
As a reminder, these games against Northwest Christian University are now on Wednesday, January 25th, instead of Tuesday, because of the schedule changes that occurred to last weekend's contests.
The Warrior women are set to take on (RV) Northwest Christian at 5:30 p.m., while the Warrior men will then host the No. 8-ranked NCU Beacons at 7:30 p.m.
If you can't make it to the games, follow along via live stats and the live video feed on Warrior TV.
