SALEM, Ore. – While playing in some of the most rainy and windy conditions in program history, the No. 10-ranked Corban University men's soccer team set a new school record with 15 goals scored en route to a 15-1 triumph over Walla Walla University on Saturday evening. The win came on Senior Night for the Warriors, celebrating the eight graduating seniors who played in their final home regular-season match for the Warriors.

"The offensive eruption tonight again showed the quality we have going forward," said Corban head coach Aaron Lewis. "I was most pleased with the quality of runs off of the ball, and the willingness to make the extra pass when those guys were on."
Prior to the start of the match, Corban honored the following eight seniors in a Senior Ceremony: Stephen Anderson, Kazuki Tateishi Iliya Zhividze, Langdon Roscoe, Rolando Velazquez, Timur Zhividze, Nathaniel Cheney, and Jordan Farr.
Velazquez opened the scoring just 30 seconds into the contest scoring off a perfect through ball from Timur Zhividze to give the Warriors the early advantage. From that point on, the Warriors would not look back, as Alex Segovia scored two goals 10 minutes later in quick succession to make it 3-0.
Before the half would end, Zhividze scored a hat trick and Velazquez added another, as did Cheney for the Warriors to take an 8-0 lead into the halftime break.
The Wolves actually got on the board and pulled a goal back 10 minutes into the second half when Andrew Nye hit a shot that deflected into Corban's goal, making it an 8-1 game.
Cheney then scored his second of the match in the 61st minute, blasting a shot past the goalkeeper to extend the advantage back to eight goals. Seven minutes later, Armando Lopez ripped a shot from the top of the box into the lower-right corner to take Corban's tally to double digits.
Tateishi then received a pass from Lopez two minutes later and slotted home his shot before Lopez made it 12-1 with a beautiful free kick goalazo into the top-left corner from 30 yards out not long after.
Clement Dushimimana got in on the scoring action for the Warriors in the 79th minute off an assist from Nic Farr, and then Farr served as the distributor once again a few minutes later, making an unselfish play to feed an open Langdon Roscoe who one-timed his shot in.
Roscoe then capped off Corban's record-setting performance with a chip shot over the goalkeeper off a long through ball from Stephen Anderson.
The Warriors outshot the Wolves on the night, 34-7.
Corban (13-1-2, 9-1-1 CCC) returns to the pitch next weekend for a regular-season ending road trip at Warner Pacific College and Eastern Oregon University on Friday and Saturday.
