"I am extremely proud of our guys for digging in and playing through the ups and downs of momentum," said Corban head coach Austin Johnson. "It's a game of runs, and our guys made big plays down the stretch. Beau Roggenbach was huge all game long and we had so many different guys step up at critical moments. We'll need to rest and recover quickly to get ready for Evergreen State tomorrow."

Corban trailed early, but then used a big run to take a sizeable lead late in the first half. Northwest responded though and drained a big three-pointer just before the halftime buzzer to cut the deficit to just five points.

In the second stanza, the Eagles remained hot and actually took the advantage midway in the second half, but then Corban inserted Chris Martin who caught fire, connecting on three-straight long-range efforts to give the momentum back to the Warriors. From that point on, big shots from Beau Roggenbach, AJ Monterossi, and Andrew Evans sealed the deal as the Warriors closed out the 10-point victory.

In the win, Roggenbach notched a double-double with 12 points and 13 rebounds, while Joel Johnson led Corban in scoring with 15 points and six boards. Additionally, Caleb Dozier had a big night with 14 points on a 5-for-8 shooting effort while also hauling in nine important rebounds.

For the game, Corban shot 44.6% overall and just 25.0% from deep, but the Warriors' defense was what was the key, holding the Eagles to just a 39.4% shooting effort overall and only a 28.6% mark from downtown.

Corban's bench proved vital on the night, outscoring the Eagles' bench, 26-13.

For the Eagles (8-7, 2-3 CCC), Tre Benton tallied a team-best 17 points, while Kaelan Hicks totaled 16 points in the defeat.

Corban (9-5, 3-3 CCC) returns to action tomorrow night when it hosts The Evergreen State College. Tipoff in the C.E. Jeffers Sports Center is slated for 7:30 p.m.
