"Northwest is a very well-coached team and we knew we had to come out passing well in order to run our offense to its full capacity," said Corban head coach Kim McLain. "They kept us on our toes and we struggled at times, but it was an achievement to pull through a tough match against a strong team."

Corban is now the lone remaining Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) team that is undefeated in CCC action following the first three contests of the 2017 CCC season. In addition, Corban has yet to lose a set in CCC play.

Corban swung for a season-high .463 attack percentage on Friday evening, racking up a total of 45 kills in the straight-set sweep. After hitting for a .517 attacking mark in set one, Corban then hit for a .548 mark in set two and at a .343 clip in the final stanza.

Defensively, Corban held Northwest (8-3, 2-1 CCC) to just a .255 attacking percentage on the night, with the Warriors racking up eight blocks and 41 digs. Leading the way defensively was Haley Wells with 14 digs for Corban.

Offensively, Adriana Aguayo totaled 19 kills for the Warriors to lead all attackers, while Amber Parker racked up 16 kills and just one error. Dishing out the assists, Cierra Leopoldino totaled a match-high 26 assists, while Madison McLain recorded 16 assists for Corban.

The Warriors (8-4, 3-0 CCC) return to action tomorrow night when it hosts The Evergreen State College. First serve is slated for 7:30 p.m. in the C.E. Jeffers Sports Center.
