SALEM, Ore. – The Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) Volleyball Tournament, presented by U.S. Bank, kicks off tonight with the CCC Quarterfinals. The Warriors' first challenge will come in the form of Northwest University, with the two teams squaring off at 7 p.m. tonight inside the C.E. Jeffers Sports Center.

The winner of the match will advance to the tournament final site, which is on the campus of top-seeded Southern Oregon University down in Ashland, Ore.
Tonight will be a grudge match for the No. 12-ranked Warriors, who fell in four sets (25-18, 25-23, 19-25, 25-23) to the Eagles last time the two matched up. Altogether, the squads split the season series, with Corban claiming the September 13 contest in four sets (25-19, 28-26, 20-25, 25-16).
Northwest's presence at the net has been crucial to the team's success in 2019, as the Eagles lay claim to the second-best block-per-set tally (2.53) in the CCC. That mark, which is due in large part to the efforts of Kylie Szcepanski (1.21 blocks-per-set, 15th in NAIA) and Abigail Broussard (1.19 blocks-per-set, 17th in NAIA), ranks fourth in the country.
Hannah Lord is the squad's top offensive weapon, averaging 2.5 kills-per-game in 2019. Anna Saelens figures to do the bulk of the distributing, entering Tuesday's match averaging 4.5 assists-per-game.
The No. 14-ranked Corban University volleyball team possesses a wealth of talent and experience in its pursuit of a conference tournament title.
Six members of the Corban roster have tallied at least 100 kills so far this season, with Cassie Cunningham (250 kills, 2.69 kills-per-set) and Avari Ridgway (234 kills, 2.54 kills=per-set) leading the charge.
At the net, Jacquelyn Clark and Sarah Randall have proven themselves to be some of the conference's most efficient attackers, hitting at .331 and .335 clips, respectively.
Reigning All-Conference Honorable-Mention libero Kealani Ontai (396 digs, 4.26 digs-per-set) figures to once again be in the mix for individual accolades in 2019, putting together another exceptional campaign this fall. Lauren Condon provides another strong defensive presence in the Warrior back row, ranking second on the team with 2.20 digs-per-set.
With three options, the Warriors have utilized a trio of setters in 2019, with Jadyn Mullen leading the squad with 505 assists (5.67 assists-per-set), Cierra Leopoldino registering 318 assists (3.93 assists-per-set), and Ciarra Judson (143 assists, 3.67 assists-per-set) seeing her role increase significantly in the second half.
