SALEM, Ore. – Corban University head volleyball coach Kim McLain announced her 2020 recruiting class on Monday afternoon, inking seven players to the already talented squad. Coming off the team's fourth-straight appearance in the NAIA Final 16, the new cast will further bolster the program in its pursuit of reaching even greater heights this fall.
"We are excited to welcome this group to the Warrior family!" said McLain. "They bring with them not only talent and passion for the game, but also high character that will contribute to the culture of our program and university. We are always trying to push the bar to the next level, and we feel this group will help us reach those goals."
Rylee Troutman – 6'0" – Outside Hitter – Ridgeview HS – COVC – Powell Butte, Ore.
A dynamic and gifted attacker, Troutman brings a vaunted résumé to the Warrior rotation. While a member of the Ridgeview High School program, she was named First-Team All-League in her final three years. Recognized at the state's highest levels, the Ridgeview native was also named to the 5A All-State team in both 2019 and 2020. Troutman was a recipient of the MaxPreps Volleyball Player of the Week award and was also an Oregon Sports nominee.
Troutman intends to major in psychology while attending Corban.

Ally Tow – 5'11" – Outside Hitter/Opposite – Sweet Home HS/Linn-Benton CC – Sweet Home, Ore.
Tow, a three-sport prep athlete, will look to make an immediate impact for the Navy and Gold after transferring from Linn-Benton Community College. The versatile athlete played volleyball, softball, and basketball while at Sweet Home High School, and was named Second-Team All-State on the volleyball court in 2017. Tow earned Team MVP plaudits in her 2015, 2016, and 2017 seasons with the squad. Also, Tow was named Second-Team All-State in softball in 2017, while also collecting Sky-Em League Player of the Year accolades.
During her time at Corban, Tow plans to study mathematics.

Allyson Reid – 6'0" – Middle Blocker/Opposite – Skyview HS – NW Reign – Vancouver, Wash.
Hailing from Vancouver, Wash., Reid was a two-sport athlete at Skyview High School, playing both volleyball (four years) and softball (three years). On the court, she was named First-Team All-League in 2019, along with being tabbed the Skyview volleyball team's Offensive Player of the Year. In 2018, she propelled her squad to the league championships, earning Second-Team All-League plaudits.
Reid plans to study accounting at Corban.

Maddie Scott – 5'6" – Defensive Specialist – Fife HS – PSVBA – Tacoma, Wash.
Scott joins the Navy and Gold after a successful playing career at Fife High School. The Tacoma, Wash. native was a two-time Second-Team All-League recipient during her time there. In addition, she played her club volleyball for Puget Sound Volleyball Academy, and won a bid to nationals in her U13, U14, U16, and U17 seasons.
Scott intends to study biology, with aspirations of working as a dermatologist.

Marissa Uehara – 5'0" – Defensive Specialist/Libero – Hawaii Baptist Academy – Maunalani – Kaneohe, Hawaii
Uehara will begin her freshman season this fall, joining the Navy and Gold after a decorated career at the high school level. She was named All-League Honorable Mention in 2019 at Hawaii Baptist Academy, and also participated in track & field, qualifying for state in the 4x400-meter relay in 2017 and 2018, as well as the 4x100-meter relay in 2017.
While attending Corban, Uehara plans to hone her studies in kinesiology.

Raedyn Goudreau – 5'11" – Setter/Opposite – Graham Kapowsin HS – PSVBA – Spanawah, Wash.
Goudreau comes to Corban from Spanaway, Wash., where she turned in a record-setting career on the court for Graham Kapowsin High School. The three-time All-League and two-time All-State award-winner holds the school's records for career assists, single-season assists, and single-game assists. Additionally, she helped lead the squad to a District Championship in her sophomore season, as well as a third-place finish in State in her senior campaign.
Goudreau is set to participate in Corban's biokinetics program.

Cora Pelleberg – 6'0" – Middle Blocker – Newport HS – T3 – Newport, Wash.
A standout on and off the court, Pelleberg hails from Newport, Wash. Hoping to contribute to the Warrior front row, she was twice named to the All-League First Team and once awarded Second-Team All-League plaudits during her time at Newport High School. Exceptional in the classroom, as well, she was an Academic All-League honoree in each of her four years there.
Pelleberg intends to study psychology during her time in Salem.

The dynamic slew of additions provides depth for McLain and company, while also bringing in a number of dangerous weapons for the squad's 2020 journey through the highly-competitive Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC).
"We are excited to add them to our already very talented team," added McLain. "We are looking forward to the 2020 season and seeing the growth of the team spiritually, academically, and athletically, while also watching the girls make a difference on campus and in the community."
