Per CCC guidelines, if a school must stop play because of a COVID-19 outbreak or cannot field a full team, then forfeits shall be awarded for any game(s) that a school misses while unable to play.
The Yotes were originally scheduled to compete against No.5 Corban this upcoming Saturday, September 3rd, but will be unable to field a team. The contest will thus be recorded as a forfeit win for the Warriors, and no volleyball game will be played out on Corban's campus this upcoming Saturday evening.
Corban's NAIA Top 10 matchup and conference opening contest against the No. 7 Eastern Oregon University Mountaineers is still scheduled to be played in the C.E. Jeffers Sports Center as planned on Friday, September 2nd at 7pm PDT.
