CORVALLIS, Ore. – The Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) office announced the 2025-26 Men's Basketball Coaches' Preseason Poll earlier today, where the Corban University Men's Basketball program was picked to finish seventh overall among the incredibly competitive Pacific Northwest conference as they're led into the upcoming schedule with a brand new coaching staff and new look squad.

"We feel like we have a great opportunity to finish higher than where we're projected this season," explained Warriors' first-year head coach Wayne Mendezona. "Now it's time for our team to go out on the court and prove that to everyone else."
After clinching a fourth-consecutive CCC regular season championship in 2024-25, the Yotes of The College of Idaho (117) enter as the preseason favorites once again, with Southern Oregon University (103) nipping at their heels. The Yotes received eight of the eleven first place votes available, whereas the Raiders received two first place votes. Lewis-Clark State College (93) and Oregon Tech (88) are within five voter points of each other in third and fourth, while Eastern Oregon University (1) received the final first place vote available and rounds out the top five.
Bushnell University (67) was picked to finish above the Warriors (51) for the first time in a five-year span, with Northwest University (47) representing the final postseason worthy program based on this year's preseason poll results. Warner Pacific University (42), Walla Walla University (20), and The Evergreen State College (18) make up the final three teams in the 2025-26 preseason rankings.
The Warrior men's basketball program will host their second scrimmage of the season on Tim Hills Court next Friday, October 24th at 5pm, where they're scheduled to welcome Clackamas Community College to the peak of Corban's campus before hitting the road for a six-game road trip to begin the regular season.
