Gladfelter, Moha Earn All-American Honors, Warrior Men Finish Thirteenth at National Championships

TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – For the first time in program history, the Corban University Men's Cross Country team saw multiple Warriors crowned as All-Americans following the 2025 NAIA National Championship races, as their top two individuals finished within the top forty among the nation's best long distance runners to help the men's program finish 13th overall. On the women's side, the Warriors' lone individual qualifier closed out her collegiate cross country career with a top sixty finish in one of the most competitive championships the NAIA has to offer.

"Really excited about how the men's team did today," began Warriors' associate head coach Stuart Eagon. "I predicted at the beginning of the season we would finish around twelfth or thirteenth in the nation this year, so a thirteenth overall finish today is a great result. Jack ran a very bold race, as he tried to push for that national title but ended up costing himself some placements over the final thousand meters or so, but still a great race for him. Zander's first time winning All-American honors is a huge accomplishment for him, and the remainder of the men's team all ran good races as well. I firmly believe we can find ourselves within the top ten programs next season given our strong returning group."

The difficulty provided by the Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC) members proved vital for the Corban men's program to perform as well as they did today on the national stage, as the Warriors finished 13th overall in team scoring while their top two runners earned All-American accolades. Junior Jack Gladfelter (24:39.4) and senior Zander Moha (25:09.6) finished in 11th and 34th, respectively, to pick up All-American awards, with Gladfelter's representing the second of said occasions while Moha picked up the national praise for the first time in his collegiate career. For Gladfelter, this is his third overall All-American honor when including his track & field results.

Junior Braydon Lee (25:39.0), sophomore Bennet Mason (26:19.1), and freshman Logan Mason (26:38.8) all improved their individual placements by double-digits over the final 1,000 meters to help push the Navy and Gold into the 13th overall team position and above fellow CCC member College of Idaho. Lee finished in 75th for a top 100 finish, while the Mason brothers clinched 151st and 199th individual placements, respectively. Senior Nathan Pfaff (27:39.2) and freshman Kai Kearns (27:49.9) concluded today's national championships with top-275 finishes among the 323-man race. Among the CCC teams in attendance today, the Corban men's team finished in fourth overall.

"I thought Abby competed really well today as well," continued Eagon. "She started out a bit slow and these national races make it difficult to move up early with the sheer number of bodies out on the course you have to avoid, but she finished extremely strong and passed up numerous runners throughout the entire race. Just over 20 seconds off All-American status and she should be really proud of the season she had, as it was one of the best we've ever had within the women's program. Our programs are certainly on the rise, and we have no one greater to thank but God for what he has blessed us with, all the glory goes to Him at the end of the day."

In the women's race, senior Abigail Oosterhout concluded her collegiate cross country career with a 22:21.9 in the national 6k meet, placing her in 57th overall, which is the sixth best individual finish at the NAIA National Championships in Corban women's program history. Among Pacific Northwest runners at the event, Oosterhout finished in ninth overall.

Yet another momentous year for the Corban cross country programs has the Warriors on the rise within one of the NAIA's difficult conferences for long distance running, as the men earned their highest team finish in school history while the women qualified an individual for the national championship race, their first since 2020, and received votes as a team in the national top 25 poll for the first time since 2017.
