LEXINGTON, Ky. – The American Volleyball Coaches' Association (AVCA) office has announced their 2026 NAIA Beach Volleyball All-American recipients, where the No. 3-ranked Corban University Beach Volleyball program's top duo was represented as two of the NUMBER total NAIA All-Americans from across the country. Senior Emmi Marks and junior Emma Bischoff claimed their second and third all-time beach volleyball All-American accolades, respectively, after completing a dominant run through both the regular season and postseason schedules where they amassed a 30-2 overall record while simultaneously handing out losses to some of the best duos the NAIA and NCAA have to offer.
"Emma and Emmi had a great year and as their record shows, made it look easy," Warriors' head coach Dan Stephens explained regarding his top overall duo from this past season. The calm demeanor they display on and off the court is a stark contrast to how they attack the ball, block, and defend. We are proud of what they accomplished, and it was fun to be a part of!"
The Navy and Gold's top overall duo didn't just accumulate the most wins (30) out of any pairing across the CCC, they did so in utterly overpowering fashion with 22 of their overall wins coming in straight set sweeps against opponents from the NAIA, NCAA DI, and NCAA DII levels of play. Their only losses on the season came against NCAA DI University of San Francisco and No. 1-ranked Southern Oregon University's Tessa Zimmermann and Grace Gulbrandsen.
Marks and Bischoff would go on to defeat the Raiders' top duo four separate times in 2026 and were on their way to a fifth during their truncated national semifinal matchup. In the CCC specifically, they finished with the least number of head-to-head losses (2) out of any pairing across the Pacific Northwest and undoubtedly led the entire country in total wins as they only pair to hit the 30-win mark.
The NAIA national office still has their own postseason awards to announce later this week, where Marks and Bischoff will contend for both NAIA All-American and possible NAIA Pair of the Year accolades from their governing organization following their spectacular year in the sand for Corban beach volleyball.
