SALEM, Ore. – The Corban University Men's Soccer program has announced its 2026 recruiting class, as head coach Jordan Keegan and the Warrior coaching staff welcome a talented group of 24 student-athletes to the squad. The class serves as the first under Keegan's direction and features a combination of both accomplished high school standouts and experienced collegiate transfers who will add depth, versatility, and championship experience across the field.
"This is an extremely talented group that I'm excited to get the chance to work with this fall," shared Keegan. "Overall, it's a fairly young group, but one I believe will make a big impact on Corban and the CCC this year on and off the field."
The incoming group includes players from across the Pacific Northwest, California, Florida, Washington, Hawaii, Texas, and even international recruits from Argentina, giving the Warriors a diverse and experienced recruiting class heading into the upcoming fall season. The 24-member recruiting class provides Corban with a strong foundation for the future, adding proven goal scorers, experienced transfers, accomplished defenders, and several high-level goalkeepers as the Warriors prepare for upcoming campaigns. Below is a closer look at each of the newest additions:
Giovanni Alarcon | 5-8 | Midfielder | Freshman | Salem, Ore. | McKay HS
One of the most decorated local recruits in the class, Alarcon was a member of an OSAA 5A State Championship squad while earning two First Team All-Conference honors and First Team All-State recognition. He also helped his club team reach the national semifinals and participated in two EA All-Star Games.
Alarcon is undecided on a major to pursue but has intentions of one day entering the work force as a dental hygienist.
Timothy Antonov | 6-3 | Defender | Freshman | Damascus, Ore. | Portland Christian HS
Antonov earned First Team All-League defensive honors at Portland Christian High School for his defensive efforts, while also playing for Inter PDX in the UPSL and Eastside Timbers club organization. The multi-sport athlete competed in soccer, basketball, and baseball and brings size and athleticism to the Warriors' defensive unit.
He will study marketing during his freshman season of competition.
Brycen Bennett | 6-0 | Forward | Freshman | Victorville, Calif. | Oak Hills HS
Bennett joins the Warriors after a successful prep career at Oak Hills High School where he served as a leading scorer and earned Offensive Player of the Year and MVP honors. A four-year varsity contributor, Bennett scored 41 combined goals during his high school career and also captained his FCA club team.
He plans to major in business and either pursue a professional soccer career or a position within zoology.
Alvaro Castellon | 6-2 | Forward | Redshirt Junior | Walla Walla, Wash. | Walla Walla HS | Walla Walla CC
Castellon transfers to Corban after competing for Walla Walla Community College for two seasons while redshirting in another. The striker earned First Team MCC honors during his senior season of high school and was recognized on the President's List with a 4.0 GPA in college.
He plans to major in business administration in order to pursue a career as an entrepreneur.
Oswaldo Cerda Pacheco | 6-0 | Defender | Freshman | Salem, Ore. | Baker Web Academy
Ability to play at both the center back and full back positions, Cerda Pacheco brings size and defensive versatility to the Warrior back line. He also competed with Deportivo Rose City club soccer and the Portland Timbers Academy U18 team.
Cerda Pacheco plans to pursue a degree in criminal justice with intentions of one day working in the police field.
Rylan Davidson | 6-3 | Goalkeeper | Redshirt Sophomore | Salem, Ore. | South Salem HS | Western Oregon Univ.
Davidson transfers to Corban from NCAA DII Western Oregon University after a prep career that featured two All-State selections and three All-Conference honors. The Salem native adds experience and size to the Warriors' goalkeeping room and will look to earn valuable minutes between the posts as the program searches for their new starting keeper.
With his primary focus on pre-med, Davidson will pursue a degree in kinesiology at Corban.
Ethan Fajardo | 6-0 | Defender/Forward | Redshirt Sophomore | Grandview, Wash. | Grandview HS | Walla Walla CC
Fajardo earned Defensive Player of the Year honors in high school and was selected First Team All-League in three separate seasons. At Walla Walla Community College, he collected Second Team All-NWAC recognition and Dean's List honors while starting in 14 of 15 total contests.
He's expected to pursue a degree in business administration with an emphasis on marketing.
Johnny Garcia | 5-11 | Defender/Midfielder | Freshman | Stayton, Ore. | Stayton HS
A four-year varsity starter, Garcia helped lead Stayton to four league championships and a state title. His honors include First Team All-State, Second Team All-State, and three First Team All-Conference selections. He also contributed to multiple state and regional championships with Capital FC.
Garcia intends on pursuing a career in dentistry and will begin his collegiate career by studying biology.
Julian Garcia-Reynoso | 5-10 | Forward | Junior | San Fernando, Calif. | San Fernando Senior HS | Los Angeles Mission College
Garcia-Reynoso joins the Warriors after helping Los Angeles Mission College rank among the top junior college programs in California. He also competed for respected club programs LAFC So Cal and Legends FC.
In his third season of collegiate men's soccer, Garcia-Reynoso will work towards a degree in kinesiology with an emphasis in sports & recreation.
Jesus Garrido | 5-8 | Forward | Freshman | Salem, Ore. | McKay HS
Garrido arrives at Corban after helping his club team claim a USYS National Championship and reach the USYS Regional Final. His prep accomplishments include multiple Athlete of the Week honors and an Athlete of the Year nomination.
With intentions of one day becoming a real estate agent, Garrido will study business administration at Corban.
Hayden Gatchet | 6-0 | Defender | Freshman | Keizer, Ore. | McNary HS
Gatchet was part of three consecutive Central Valley Conference championship teams at McNary and helped his club squad claim a national title in the Presidents Cup. Additionally in 2024, Gatchet claimed an ENCL-RL regional championship at the club level. He joins his older brother, Noah, as recent Corban student-athletes to compete in the navy and gold kits.
He will pursue a business degree during his freshman year of eligibility.
Gilmer Gomez | 5-8 | Goalkeeper | Redshirt Junior | Canoga Park, Calif. | Canoga Park HS | Blue Mountain CC
A goalkeeper with collegiate experience, Gomez helped Canoga Park High School win a CIF City Championship. He arrives with two years of experience at Blue Mountain Community College with 12 games played and ten starts in goal and finished his most recent spring semester at Pierce College.
Gomez will study business while serving as a member of the Navy and Gold.
Steven Gonzalez | 5-9 | Defender/Forward | Junior | Canoga Park, Calif. | Canoga Park HS | Blue Mountain CC
Gonzalez arrives with collegiate experience after competing at both Pierce College and Blue Mountain Community College. He earned NWAC All-Star Second Team recognition and brings versatility with experience across multiple positions along the backline and in wide attacking roles.
He intends to major in kinesiology while competing as a Warrior.
Jake Jenner | 5-10 | Goalkeeper | Junior | DuPont, Wash. | Steilacoom HS | Pierce College
Jenner set his high school's record for career clean sheets and earned First Team All-League recognition. His UPSL involvement within the Seattle Eagles organization combined with collegiate experience at Bellevue College and Pierce College provides additional depth and leadership in goal for the Warriors.
With intentions of one day working within the entrepreneurship field, Jenner will be studying business administration.
Inaki Lambarri | 5-11 | Midfielder | Junior | Paraná, Argentina | Don Bosco HS | Salt Lake CC
Lambarri comes to Corban from Salt Lake Community College after previously competing at Cowley College. The Argentine midfielder developed with Club Atlético Patronato and brings plenty of international experience to the Warrior midfield.
He'll look to earn a degree in business administration at Corban.
Abraham Lopez | 5-5 | Midfielder | Freshman | Salem, Ore. | South Salem HS
Lopez earned both First Team and Second Team All-Conference recognition during his prep career. He also helped Capital FC capture a regional championship and earned First Team All-Conference honors along the way.
Lopez plans to study nursing at Corban.
Jonathan Lopez | 5-8 | Freshman | Boardman, Ore. | Riverside Jr./Sr. HS | Chemeketa CC
Lopez earned First Team All-League honors twice and was named Second Team All-State on two occasions during his prep career. He also helped Three Rivers ECNL-RL win the Northwest Conference Championship and joins Corban after attending Chemeketa Community College.
He'll look to continue the pursuit of a degree in accounting.
Jesus Mendoza | 5-10 | Junior | Pasadena, Texas | Sam Rayburn HS | Lake Tahoe CC
A multi-sport standout, Mendoza excelled in soccer, football, and baseball at Sam Rayburn High School. He finished his soccer prep career with 28 goals and earned Senior of the Year and two First Team All-District honors. He transfers from Lake Tahoe Community College where he secured First Team Golden Valley Conference honors after scoring six goals and assisting on eight more, which led the team in the offensive statistic.
Mendoza plans to major in business.
Christian Orozco | 6-0 | Goalkeeper | Freshman | Salem, Ore. | Blanchet Catholic HS
Orozco brings one of the most decorated résumés in the 2026 recruiting class. A multiple-time First Team All-League and All-State honoree, he captained soccer, football, and basketball teams during his prep career. His club accomplishments include state, league, and regional championships with Capital FC, along with All-Tournament team recognition.
Undecided on a future profession, Orozco will pursue a degree in business administration during his first year of collegiate soccer.
Christ Ramirez | 5-9 | Midfielder | Junior | Los Angeles, Calif. | John H. Francis Polytechnic HS | Los Angeles Mission College
Ramirez comes to Corban after two seasons at Los Angeles Mission College, where he earned Dean's List honors and conference academic recognition. In high school, he helped lead his team to a Division II Los Angeles City Championship while competing for San Fernando Valley FC during the secondary school offseason.
A future career in police work has Ramirez studying criminal justice while at Corban.
James Tomlinson | 5-8 | Forward | Freshman | Cape Coral, Fla. | American Christian Academy
Tomlinson finished his high school career with 19 goals and 12 assists in varsity competition, playing in nearly 1,700 minutes in his senior season alone. The Florida Athletics Coaches Association Player of the Year candidate helped guide his team to deep postseason runs, including a state final appearance and two top-four finishes.
A degree in business administration awaits Tomlinson at Corban.
Elijah Vergara | 6-0 | Defender | Freshman | Eugene, Ore. | Willamette HS
Vergara earned First Team All-League honors twice during his high school career and competed with Capital FC as a key defender within the soccer realm, while also playing tennis for two seasons at Willamette High School.
He plans to pursue a degree in criminal justice with intentions of one day serving as a police officer/agent.
Antonio Virrueta | 5-7 | Forward | Freshman | McMinnville, Ore. | McMinnville HS
Virrueta compiled an impressive prep résumé that included First Team All-League honors, Third Team All-State recognition, and two league championships. He also helped McMinnville reach the 2025 OSAA state final and earned a runner-up title.
Virrueta plans to study accounting at Corban.
Malachi Wilson | 5-8 | Goalkeeper | Freshman | Gig Harbor, Wash. | Gig Harbor HS
Wilson arrives after a standout senior season that included 10 shutouts, First Team All-League honors, and a third-place state team finish. He established himself as one of the area's top goalkeepers while maintaining a perfect penalty shootout record.
He'll enter Corban's newly established nursing program with hopes of one day working as a certified registered nurse (CNR) or anesthesiologist.
