Biography

2023: Medical Redshirt Season… CCC Academic All-Conference Honoree and Daktronics Scholar-Athlete… Member of the 2023 Corban Women’s Track & Field team that placed 6th overall at the Cascade Collegiate Conference Championships. The program saw 15 new Top 10 marks for the Warriors’ all-time record books, one All-Conference student-athlete, five CSC Academic All-District award winners, 12 NAIA Scholar-Athletes, and 14 CCC Academic All-Conference student-athletes.

2022: Schmidt was named the CCC Female Track Athlete of the Year and joined Avari Ridgway as the second Corban woman to be named the top competitor in their respective sports this year...Schmidt won the heptathlon at the CCC Championships in April with a record-breaking score of 5,086, and Schmidt made history this year as Corban's first-ever national champion in track and field after winning the NAIA Heptathlon Championship with 5,158 points – breaking the CCC record set almost 30 years ago in 1995 in the process…The standout was also awarded Academic All-District plaudits for her efforts on the track and in the classroom….Schmidt is the Corban record holder in the long jump, 100m hurdles, and the heptathlon. She is the conference record holder in the heptathlon and ranks in the top-10 all time in the nation in her event. The junior also ranks in the top-10 in Corban history in the 200m, 400m hurdles, high jump, and shot put.

2020: Second-year athlete for the Warrior squad that had its 2020 season cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic… Ran the 100H and participated in the high jump at the Linfield Erik Anderson Memorial Icebreaker… Finished in third place in the 100H with a 16.21 clip… Jumped 4’ 9” in the high jump, for a seventh-place finish…

2019: Outstanding Rookie Heptathlete for the Navy and Gold squad that finished fifth at the CCC Championships… Placed second in the Heptathlon at the CCC Championships with a score of 4620, earning a place in the Heptathlon at the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships… Posted her career-best 4711 score in the Heptathlon at the NAIA Outdoor Track and Field Championships, which was good for sixth place… Named an NAIA All-American…
