HIGH SCHOOL: A 2008 graduate from Sheldon High School with academic honors … Played four years of basketball and softball … Earned all-conference 1st team honors as a junior and senior … Named 2nd team all-state at the 6A level following senior season … Helped lead Sheldon to the 3rd round of OSAA state championship during senior campaign and scored a game-high 30 points in overtime loss to Central Catholic … Named as a member of Team Oregon for the Northwest Shootout All-Star Game following conclusion of senior season … Helped lead the Irish to the conference championship and a fourth place finish in the 6A state tournament during junior season … Finished junior campaign second in scoring in the Southwest Conference averaging 13.3 points per game … At the OSAA state tournament fourth-place game, poured in a career and game-high 34 points in helping lead Sheldon to a dramatic triple-overtime victory over perennial powerhouse Oregon City, 93-86 … Was named the Irish’s co-MVP as a sophomore after leading the team in scoring with a total of 381 points and an average of 15.2 points per game … Prior to transferring to Sheldon, spent her first season of prep basketball at Churchill High School in Eugene playing along side sister, Rachel.

PERSONAL: Born in Eugene, Ore. to Jim and Chris Steigleman … Is 1of 3 children … Has 2 sisters (Jessica and Rachel) … Sister, Jessica, was a member of the Warrior women’s basketball team (2004-08) and is the all-time leading scorer in women’s basketball history … Sister, Rachel, is a member of the women’s softball team … Enjoys hanging out with friends, as well as watching movies … Major: Physical Education … Would like to become a P.E. teacher following graduation.
