2022: The junior slugger appeared in 27 games for the Warrior squad…hit a .232 clip in his 69 at bats…four of his 16 hits were doubles and one was a homer…

2021: Missed the entire season due to injury... figures to be a key part of the Warriors offensive output in the 2022 campaign...

2020: Offensive force for the Warrior squad that had their 2020 season cut short due to the COVID-19 pandemic… Was a member of the starting lineup in all 17 games that he participated in… Hit at an outstanding .281/.388/.421 triple-slash clip… Racked up 16 hits in 57 at-bats… Homered twice and knocked in 13 runs on the year… Showed some speed as well, stealing three bases on three attempts…

Personal: Torres-Umi joins the Navy and Gold after a two-year stint at Eastern Arizona College, where he played in 39 games over a two-year span. He hit .330 with two homers and 20 RBI during his time at Eastern Arizona. His prep career consisted of playing in all four years, while earning All-League (2015-2017) and All-State (2017) honors in three out of four seasons. He was also named his league’s Player of the Year in 2017.

Torres-Umi will major in Ministry during his time at Corban, with plans to become a Firefighter and a Pastor.
