HIGH SCHOOL: Graduated as the valedictorian from Thurston High School in 2009 … Competed in cross country (2 years), track & field (4 years), and soccer (2 years) … Four-time scholar-athlete … Senior leader on cross country team … Named 1st team all-league in the 4x100 meter relay twice in 2008 & 2009.

PERSONAL: Born in Eugene, Ore. to Rich and Deanna Stanton … Is 1 of 3 children … Has 2 sisters (Rachel & Cherry) … Cousin, Kyle Howard, played football at Wyoming Tech … Enjoys reading, crafts, hanging out with friends, singing, and listening to music … Major: Education … Would like to become a teacher after graduation.
