David Dennis joined the Corban University baseball coaching staff in the fall of 2015 following a number of years of garnering coaching experience at varying levels across the United States.
At Corban, he serves as a graduate assistant, the catching coach, and the office manager for the Warriors.
While serving as the Vice President of the Reno Blue Devils Baseball Academy and as one of the Head Coaches for multiple teams from 2010-2013, Dennis was in charge of Player Development, scheduling, travel, as well as leading his teams to multiple championships. He was also twice named an All-Star Coach of the State for Reno West Babe Ruth in Nevada. Also during his time in Nevada, he led multiple Babe Ruth Prep teams to League Championships and was selected as the All-Star manager in 2011 and 2012.
Prior to his coaching in Nevada, he also served as a Head JV coach and was in charge of Summer Baseball teams during the 2009-2010 time frame. Moreover, he coached Team USA 17U in June of 2010 and was in charge of high school baseball players for the Team USA qualifying camp.
Prior to coming to Corban, he played collegiately at the College of Idaho from 2007-2009. He ultimately earned his degree from the University of Nevada-Reno in 2012 with a degree in General Studies and an emphasis in Health Sciences. He is currently enrolled and is working towards earning his MBA at Corban University.
In his free time, he loves to travel and to be able to see new places while experiencing new things. He is a huge sports fan and enjoys watching sports every chance he gets, starting with the San Francisco Giants to the San Francisco 49ers, the San Jose Sharks, and the Sacramento Kings. Dennis resides in Salem.
