Personal: De Mello comes to Corban after a three-sport career at Taft High School on the Oregon coast. The baseball, basketball, and cross country standout was named First-Team All-State on the diamond during his junior season. He also earned First-Team All-League honors in the middle infield in his sophomore and junior campaigns, while thriving as a distance runner to earn First-Team All-League cross country plaudits in his sophomore year.

De Mello will be studying sport and recreation management in his time at Corban.
