2019: Member of the Warrior squad that earned an appearance at the NAIA West tournament… Had four appearances on the mound, pitching 6 and two-thirds innings… Struck out two and had a 2.70 ERA…

Personal: McGovern comes to Salem from Anchorage, Alaska, where he competed at Grace Christian HS. During his time there, he received First-Team All-Conference honors as a pitcher during his high school season, while also accruing First-Team All-State plaudits during his legion season.

McGovern plans to major in exercise science while attending Corban.
