2026: Appeared in 17 games with 13 starts in his first season as a Warrior, slashing a .351 batting average in 37 at-bats thanks to 13 base hits, three RBI, four runs scored, and six walks drawn off a .478 on-base percentage… finished with a .959 fielding percentage behind three errors and 65 putouts… Member of the 2026 Corban Baseball team that finished 17-33 overall and 13-24 in CCC contests for a sixth-place finish in the conference standings. The program had 23 student-athletes named to Academic All-Conference honors, 11 NAIA Scholar-Athletes, and five Academic All-District selections and were named to the CCC Team Sportsmanship Award for a second-consecutive season…

Personal: A true utility player able to trade his outfielder mitt for a catcher’s mask, Bruns turned a corner1 in the collegiate baseball scene in 2025 when he was named a First Team All-Conference selection in the Golden Valley Conference for Shasta College, showing an increase in hits (36), RBI (21), doubles (4), average (.298), and on-base percentage among numerous other statistical categories. He’ll enter the fold at Corban able to play multiple positions around the diamond and further bolster the Warriors’ roster.

Bruns is currently undecided on his area of emphasis that he will major in while a member of the Navy and Gold.
