2023: Appeared in 38 games for the Warriors, starting 37… recorded 39 hits, 22 RBI, 7 runs scored, and 2 stolen bases. Finished with a batting average of .312, slugging percentage of .405, and on-base percentage of .394… O’Brien is 7^th for career on-base percentage (.394) and 8^th for career triples (5) in program record books. He also ranks 8^th for single season on-base percentage (.431) and 10^th for single season homeruns (5) in program history… 2023 Gold Glove Recipient and Spring 2023 Academic All-Conference Honoree…  

2022: The senior hit a .286 clip in his 84 at bats…appeared in 35 games for the Warriors and brought in 14 runs on 24 hits and 17 walks…

2021: A key member of the squad that appeared in the NAIA Opening Round for the first time in program history... The experienced backstop made his impact right away on the defensive side of the ball for the Navy and Gold... Earned the Cascade Collegiate Conference Gold Glove for his efforts... Threw out runners at a 53% clip over their 32 attempts... Chipped in 19 hits across his 37 games...

Personal: A junior-college transfer, O’Brien is another player who brings collegiate experience to the Navy and Gold roster. The sophomore spent two years at Dawson Community College prior to transferring to Corban, and is known for an exceptional arm behind the dish as he shuts down opposing baserunners. At Legacy High School in Broomfield, Colo., he was a First-Team All-Conference honoree.

O’Brien will be studying criminal justice at Corban, with hopes of working in law enforcement.
