2026: Made 36 appearances and 19 starts for the Warriors, slashing .263/.289/.391 lines for batting average, slugging percentage, and on-base percentage alongside 20 hits, two doubles, five RBI, and seven runs scored… Member of the 2026 Corban Baseball team that finished 17-33 overall and 13-24 in CCC contests for a sixth-place finish in the conference standings. The program had 23 student-athletes named to Academic All-Conference honors, 11 NAIA Scholar-Athletes, and five Academic All-District selections and were named to the CCC Team Sportsmanship Award for a second-consecutive season…
2025: Redshirted after appearing in 10 games for the Warriors and started in 7 of them…Gutierrez recorded a batting average of .321, a slugging percentage .429, and an on base percentage of .344…The 5’11” senior had a fielding percentage of .982 with 53 putouts, 2 assists, and 6 double plays… Member of the 2025 Corban Baseball team that finished 14-36 overall and 9-28 in CCC contests for a seventh-place finish in the conference standings. The program had fifteen student-athletes named to Academic All-Conference honors, nine NAIA Scholar-Athletes, five Academic All-District honorees, and one All-Conference member during the 2025 season.
2024: Appearing in 28 games for the Warriors and starting in 27, Gutierrez completed the season with a batting average of .262 a slugging percentage of .369, an on base percentage of .363, and 22 hits that were matched with 11 walks… Member of the 2024 Corban Baseball team that finished 9-38 overall and 4-20 in CCC contests for a seventh-place finish in the conference standings. The program had 13 student-athletes named to Academic All-Conference honors, along with six NAIA Scholar-Athletes for the 2024 season.
Personal: Yet another junior transfer with plenty of college experience under his belt, Gutierrez moves his way up the west coast from Taft College to Salem with a 118-plate appearance season in 2022 for the Cougars. He was top six on the team in at-bats and slashed a .250 batting average with a .279 slugging percentage, 26 hits, 13 RBI, and 12 runs. At high school in his hometown of Selah, he was named the MVP for the team’s regional program in his junior year, was a 2019 state champion, and earned Second Team All-League honors.
In order to live out his dreams of becoming an athletic director/coach, Gutierrez will be continuing the pursuit of a degree in sports management.
