2026: The only member of the 2026 squad to appear and start in all 50 regular season contests, finishing with a .283 batting average and scoring 32 runs off 53 hits with eight doubles, a triple, and a home run alongside 29 RBI and 14 hit-by-pitches that resulted in a .353 slugging percentage and .340 on-base percentage… stole 18 bases on 21 attempts on the basepaths… finished with a .976 fielding percentage behind four errors and 154 putouts…single season top ten program mark for hit-by-pitches (4th)… Member of the 2026 Corban Baseball team that finished 17-33 overall and 13-24 in CCC contests for a sixth-place finish in the conference standings. The program had 23 student-athletes named to Academic All-Conference honors, 11 NAIA Scholar-Athletes, and five Academic All-District selections and were named to the CCC Team Sportsmanship Award for a second-consecutive season…

Personal: A JUCO product joining the NAIA from Olympic College, Shaffer appeared in 90 total games for the Rangers across three seasons after his sophomore season was cut short, averaging hits on .231 of all plate appearances via 63 total hits, ten doubles, two triples and a home run, knocking home 31 runs and scoring 34 himself.

During his time as a Warrior, Shaffer will be pursuing a degree in media arts, with an emphasis on creative media.
