His winning tradition started with a state champion in high school in his senior year at Hopkins High School, a 4A school in the state of Minnesota. Stafford also garnered Second Team All-Conference in 2020-2021 will attending Colorado Christian University. Stafford is entering his fourth year of college basketball.
