Chris Pynch

Chris Pynch joined the Corban University men’s basketball coaching staff in April of 2016 following accomplished playing and coaching careers at varying levels. On top of his coaching duties, Pynch will be pursing his MBA at Corban beginning in the summer of 2016. Pynch also serves as the Intramurals and Sports Facility Coordinator.

Prior to joining the Warrior staff, Pynch was the assistant coach at Spokane Community College, helping lead his team to the NWACC Championship during the 2015-16 season. Prior to coaching there, he served as an Account Executive for Dynamic Medical Systems LLC.

During his playing days, he competed for two years at Spokane Community College before transferring to Vanguard University where he played during his junior and senior seasons. While at Vanguard, Pynch received NAIA Division I All-America Scholar-Athlete recognition.

Pynch garnered his Associates degree from Spokane CC in 2010, and then earned his Bachelor’s degree in Kinesiology from Vanguard in 2012.

In his free time, Pynch enjoys hiking, camping, reading, and skiing. He and his wife Jill currently live in Salem.
