Vandenboer joined the Corban men’s basketball staff in the fall of 2015, bringing 13 years of coaching experience to the Warriors.
Vandenboer coached boys high school basketball in Montana from 2004 – 2013 before then coaching in Washington and leading his team to a pair of state appearances. On top of coaching, he served as an athletic director for 11 years.
In addition to high school coaching, he was the head coach of an AAU Team from 2012-13, helping send players to compete at the University of Montana, Carroll College, Montana State-Northern, Dordt College, and the University of Puget Sound. Moreover, he has been an individual skills development coach for four years.
Vandenboer graduated from Walla Walla University in 2004 with a Bachelor of Science degree in Physical Education and a Minor in History. He then received his MAT in Educational Leadership in 2010 from Walla Walla University.
In his free time, he enjoys reading, going on hikes, traveling to the coast, watching movies, playing with his dogs, and playing board games. He lives with his wife Genevieve and two dogs and Salem.
