Callaghan, originally from Port Orchard, Wash., joined the Warrior men's basketball coaching staff in the fall of 2018 after a successful playing career of his own at Peninsula College and the University of Hawaii at Hilo. After competing at the junior college level at Peninsula, where he was the North Region MVP and a North Region Champion, he competed for two years at NCAA Division 2 Hawaii Hilo, where he graduated with his Bachelor's degree in Kinesiology.Â
Callaghan enjoys golfing, exercising, and playing basketball in his free time, and some of his family members include his father John, mother Denise, and sister Kelsey.
