2021-22: Second year member of the 2021-22 Warrior squad started in all 30 games this season, averaging 29.8 minutes per game. Newt led the team in 3-pointers made with a total of 72...Was the season high scorer with 345 points. Newt also led the Warriors defensively with 51 steals and was named to the CCC All-Conference team...

2020-21: Key member of the Warrior squad that went 15-3 in the shortened season a year ago. Newt led the Warriors in minutes and provided an offensive spark averaging 11.3 points per game on a 46% clip from the field and a 47% clip from three-point range... Was second on the team in steals and provided great energy in all of his 18 starts... Will be a key factor in taking the Warriors forward in the upcoming campaign...

Personal: A traveled veteran, Newt enters the Corban ranks after stops in southern California at Pierce College and the Midwest at Missouri S&T. At Malibu HS, his ridiculous 24 PPG, 5 RPG, 4 APG, and 3 SPG helped him garner conference player of the year honors and All-State accolades. At Pierce College, Newt made a name for himself beyond-the-arc by nailing 102 long-range jumpers, the third most three-point field goals in the state of California at the JUCO level. He was a First-Team All-Conference honoree both years at Pierce. He moved on to Missouri S&T, where he graduated with a bachelor’s of science in business management.

Newt will be a member of Corban’s Master of Business Administration program.
