2023-2024: Appearing in 28 games and starting in 20 Van Lierop averaged a total of 26.6 minutes per game…The senior averaged 9.5 points per game and 3.0 rebounds per game with 24 assists in his final season with the Warriors…The 6’2 guard had a field goal percentage of .438 with a three point average of .437 and a free throw percentage of .838…Van Lierop defended with 16 steals and 2 blocks for the navy and gold…6th leader in the CCC for 3 point percentage…6th leader in the CCC for three points made…CCC Academic All-Conference…Among the years of 2019-2024 Reece Van Lierop secured his spot in the Corban University Men’s Basketball record book at 6th place for three point goals made with 133 three pointers… Member of the 2023-24 Corban Men’s Basketball team that finished tied for 4th-place in the Cascade Collegiate Conference standings, concluding their season in the CCC Quarterfinal round with an overall record of 17-11 and 14-8 in conference play. Three Warriors earned All-Conference recognition for their efforts in 2023-24, with four Academic All-District selections, six Academic All-Conference members, and seven NAIA Scholar-Athletes…

2022-23: Played in 30 games this season…  Van Lierop averaged 3.5 points, 12.9 minutes, and 1.2 rebounds per game while recording 25 three-point field goals. Recorded 11 points against Evergreen State…

2021-22: Third year member of the 2021-22 Warrior squad played a total of 13 games before a season ending injury. He scored 28 points and dished out 5 assists in his short season

2020-21: Contributor on the Warrior squad that went 15-3 a season ago... Averaged 13.1 minutes per game while chipping in 3.7 points and 1.2 rebounds per game on average... Showed good ability to move the basketball with 14 assists in limited minutes... Will likely play a solid role in the squads upcoming campaign...

2019-20: Freshman member of the Warrior squad that reached the CCC Tournament as the number eight seed… Played in four contests, averaging 9.5 minutes… Shot 78.6% from the field, making 11 out of his 14 attempted shots… Shot 76.9% from long range, as he tallied 10 makes on 13 tries from beyond the arc… Scored 8.0 points per game…

Personal: The freshman guard joins the squad after an outstanding prep career at Joel E. Ferris HS. He earned 1st team All-League honors and was a team captain for the team. Van Lierop also played football for one year in high school.

Van Lierop plans to major in Kinesiology with plans to become a physical therapist.
