2024: Appearing in 13 games, starting in 4, Virguez collected a total of 535 minutes…The senior midfielder received CCC Academic All-Conference honors…Virguez was also named a 2024 NAIA Daktronic Scholar-Athlete…Member of the 2024 Corban Women’s Soccer team that finished 7-7-5 overall and 4-4-4 in conference play to finish 8th overall in the Cascade Collegiate Conference regular season standings. The program clinched a berth to the 2024 CCC tournament making their eleventh-straight postseason appearance.
2023: Appearing 10 games and starting in 1 for the navy and gold Virguez tallied a total of 442 minutes…The junior midfielder collected 1 goal and 2 points during her first season with the warriors…Virguez had a shot on goal percentage of .750…Member of the 2023 Corban Women’s Soccer team that finished 9-6-4 overall and 7-3-2 in conference play to finish 4th overall in the Cascade Collegiate Conference regular season standings. The program set a new season record for most ties in a single year with four, while a handful of individuals set both personal records and appearances on the program top ten listings for numerous categories.
Personal: The final international student transferring to Corban from Coffeyville CC, Virguez was an Honor Roll selection all four semesters at Coffeyville. She reached the regional semifinals and back-to-back second place conference finishes for the Red Ravens. Virguez competed with the club team Deportivo Petare in Venezuela, winning two second division national titles. Virguez also competed with Deportivo La Guaira, where she was an integral part of winning the U18 and U16 national tournaments.
Virguez plans to study Sport Management and Media Arts during her time at Corban.
