Personal: A JUCO product joining the NAIA from Olympic College, Shaffer appeared in 90 total games for the Rangers across three seasons after his sophomore season was cut short, averaging hits on .231 of all plate appearances via 63 total hits, ten doubles, two triples and a home run, knocking home 31 runs and scoring 34 himself.

During his time as a Warrior, Shaffer will be pursuing a degree in media arts, with an emphasis on creative media.
