2022: The sophomore made three starts in his seven appearances for the Navy and Gold…recorded 11 strikeouts and opponents averaged a mere .200 off of his electric left arm…

2021: First-year player on the Warrior squad that appeared in the NAIA Opening Round for the first time in program history... Served as an electric southpaw out of the bullpen in his first campaign... Struck out 27 across 35 innings of work... Lead the Warriors with 3 saves... 

Personal: Chong will join the Warrior roster for the 2021 spring semester, providing Corban with a southpaw weapon on the pitching staff. Coming to Salem from the Hawaiian Islands, Chong’s sister, Mahina Chong, was a high-profile recruit and an All-Conference shortstop for the Warrior softball program. Braedyn also possesses a touted pedigree, as he played a pivotal role in Waianae High School’s OIA Division II Championship in 2017. During the school’s run to the top, he was named the OIA DII Player of the Year, a DII First-Team All-Hawaii honoree, and the Impact Player of the Game for the OIA DII Championship contest itself.

During his time in Salem, Chong intends to study business.
