Erin Smith

Erin Smith joined the Corban University women’s basketball coaching staff in 2006 after playing for the Warriors during the four years previous, and after stepping away from coaching for a few years, she returned to the Corban sidelines in the fall of 2013.

Originally hailing from Mill City, Ore., Smith led the Warriors to a 27-7 overall record and a 15-3 mark in conference action as an assistant coach, resulting in a conference championship.

After moving to Kentucky in 2010, she worked as a veterinary assistant for the three years prior to her move back to Salem in 2013.

During her playing career (2002-2006) at then Western Baptist/Corban College, Smith helped the team to an 80-46 overall record, all while under the guidance of head coach Dave Bale.  Smith graduated from Corban in 2006.

In addition to coaching basketball, Smith works as the Referral Coordinator for the Santiam Hospital. She also enjoys playing volleyball, hiking, and reading.  She resides in Salem with her cat, Tempy.
