Personal: A product of nearby Regis High School, Pires makes the short trek to Corban to join the Navy and Gold for the 2021-22 campaign. Pires was a four-year member of both the basketball and volleyball teams at Regis, while also playing a year of softball and track & field during her high school career. An exceptional teammate on and off the court, she won the team's Sportsmanship Award two years in a row, while also setting the program's defensive record for blocks.
