Biography

2022-23: Member of the 2022-23 Corban Squad that flipped a 5-24 record last year into a 12-17 overall record and 7th-place finish in the Cascade Collegiate Conference, earning themselves a spot in the CCC Tournament and postseason berth for the first time since the 2019-20 season. The team finished Top 5 in the CCC in free throw percentage, offensive and defensive rebounding, and was one of the top three-point shooting teams in the conference… Appeared in 15 games including one start… NAIA Daktronics Scholar-Athlete List Member…

2021-22: Fourth-year member of the 2021-22 Warrior squad that finished 11th in the conference…appeared in 14 games for the Navy and Gold before an injury cut her season short…

2020-21: The Covid-19 pandemic drastically changed the 2021 season for the Warriors and most of the Cascade Collegiate Conference...appeared in all 13 games for the Navy and Gold…averaged 11.4 minutes per game…grabbed 21 rebounds on the season…

2019-20: Sophomore Warrior post who was a member of the Corban women’s basketball squad that reached the CCC Tournament Semifinals… Played in 24 games for the Warriors… Tallied 9.7 minutes per game… Racked up 30 points and 44 rebounds on the campaign…

2018-19: Rookie Warrior who was a member of the Corban women’s basketball squad that reached the NAIA Division II National Championships… Played in 16 games for the Warriors… Played 8.1 minutes per game… Racked up 26 points and 28 rebounds in her time on the floor…

Personal: Beaton, Ferry is her maiden name—a local product and sister to former Corban men's basketball player, Alex Ferry—comes to Corban hoping to make an immediate contribution in the first year of her collegiate career. A multi-sport athlete at South Salem HS, Ferry excelled on the court, winning the 6A State Championship in 2016, and earning All-League Honorable Mention Honors during her junior and senior seasons. Exceptional in the classroom as well, Beaton was named to the All-League Academic Team all four years of her high school career.

Beaton received her Education Degree and is now working on her Master’s in Education at Corban.
