Biography
2023-2024: Starting in 29 games for the navy and gold, Koehnke played a total of 26.9 minutes per game…The 5’6 guard averaged 5.4 points per game and 5.7 rebounds per game with 93 assists in her senior season…Koehnke had a field goal percentage of .364 with a free throw percentage of .746…The senior defended with 19 steals in her final season with the Warriors…19th leader in rebounds for the 2023-2024 CCC season…9th leader in assists for the 2023-2024 CCC season…7th leader in assist/turnover ratio for the 2023-2024 CCC season…CCC Academic All-Conference…On December 12, 2023 vs. Lindfield Kirsten Koehnke secured her place in the Corban University Woman’s Basketball record book for the 3rd most free throw attempts in a single game at 14…The senior struck her name in the record book again for 5th most assists in a single game on January 5th, 2024 against Northwest University with 10 assists… Member of the 2023-24 Corban Women’s Basketball team that qualified for the CCC Tournament for the second-consecutive season with the No. 8-seed. The team finished with an 8-21 overall record and a 7-15 slate in conference play.
2022-23: Appeared in all 29 games for the Warriors, starting in 23 of those games… Averaged 6.3 points in 28 minutes per game… Second on the team in rebounds per game at 5.7… Team leading 79 assists as well as 79% from the free throw line…
Personal: Hailing from Sublimity, Oregon, Koehnke has led an impressive collegiate career thus far on the court and in the classroom. While attending Westmont College, she was a GSAC Scholar-Athlete, three-time Dean's List Honoree, and an NAIA Champions of Character award winner. Not only did she excel in the classroom while attending Westmont, but Koehnke was also part of the 2021 NAIA National Championship team. Koehnke has been a leader on and off the court since her time at Salem Academy. Koehnke has two years of eligibility remaining.
Koehnke will be completing a master's degree in Counseling while at Corban and plans to pursue a career as a mental health counselor following graduation.
