Personal: Word enters the Corban basketball program after two years at Palomar College. In his four years of high school basketball, he earned all-conference, all-league, and first team honors. He also was the California state championship MVP and averaged 26 points per game.
Word is pursuing a kinesiology degree with plans of becoming a sports therapist after Corban.
