Justin Rivard rejoined the Corban women’s soccer coaching staff in 2011 after having been a part of the coaching staff during the 2000 and 2001 seasons.
During the 2000 and 2001 campaigns, Rivard helped lead the Warriors to a 26-22-2 overall record and a pair of second-place finishes in the Cascade Collegiate Conference (CCC). He then took over as the head coach of the Corban men’s soccer program, leading the squad from 2002-2005. During that time, Rivard led the team to a 44-30-6 overall record a pair of third-place marks and fourth-place finishes in the CCC. Following a break from the sidelines at Corban, Rivard then returned to the Warrior women’s soccer coaching staff in 2011.
During his career, Rivard has also been involved with the Cascade Surge, a semi-professional soccer team based in Salem. In addition, he has his National Soccer Coaches Association of America National License.
Rivard earned a Bachelor of Science in Psychology from George Fox University. He then continued his education at Trinity Western University where he earned his Master’s degree in Christian Studies. While at Trinity Western, Rivard served as an assistant coach for the men’s soccer program.
In his free time, he enjoys hiking, playing various sports, reading, and playing with his children. He and his wife, Joni, live in Colton with their three kids – Jillian, Jolie, and Jakin.
