Biography
2024: Starting in all 19 games, Olvera lead the team in total minutes with 1,643 for the 2024 fall season…The senior defender had 2 assists and 2 points…Member of the 2024 Corban Women’s Soccer team that finished 7-7-5 overall and 4-4-4 in conference play to finish 8th overall in the Cascade Collegiate Conference regular season standings. The program clinched a berth to the 2024 CCC tournament making their eleventh-straight postseason appearance.
2023: Starting in 10 of the 11 game appearances Olvera collected a total of 885 minutes…The junior defender scored 1 goal had 1 assist and obtained 3 points during the 2023 season…Olvera ended the season with a shot on goal percentage of .750…Member of the 2023 Corban Women’s Soccer team that finished 9-6-4 overall and 7-3-2 in conference play to finish 4th overall in the Cascade Collegiate Conference regular season standings. The program set a new season record for most ties in a single year with four, while a handful of individuals set both personal records and appearances on the program top ten listings for numerous categories.
2022: Was a member of the 2022 Corban team that finished 11-4-3 overall (7-2-3 CCC). This was the Warriors' best defensive season in recent memory, setting single-season team records in fewest goals allowed (12), fewest losses (4) and most shutouts (12)...appeared in 16 games for the Warriors, starting in all 16 of them...totaled 1173 minutes on the backline
2021: Member of the 2021 Warrior squad that finished with a 12-5 record overall (8-4 CCC). The Warriors scored more goals (43) this season than any year since 2004…appeared in 15 contests for the Warriors…totaled 637 minutes
2020-21: Member of the Warrior squad that bolstered eight wins in CCC play during the COVID-19 pandemic. Eight wins is tied for their most since 2004, and they managed to accomplish it in just 10 conference competitions.
Personal: Olvera, a local product, played four years on the pitch at South Salem HS. She was named second-team all-conference in her sophomore season. The defensive stalwart also competed for the Capital FC Timbers during the summer months and was a part of five state champion squads during her time with the club.
At Corban, Olvera plans to study kinesiology, with hopes of becoming a Physical Therapist.
