Personal: A javelin thrower in her time at Metro East Web Academy, Diaz Chavez brings an elite athletic presence to the Navy and Gold’s throwing group. The incoming freshman from Gresham, Ore. competed in dance, soccer, basketball, volleyball, and track & field during her prep years.
Diaz Chavez hopes to major in biomedical sciences at Corban, aspiring to become a pediatric surgeon in the future.
