Biography

2024: Schmidtke collected 209 kills this season with 1.74 kills per setKill percentage of .332 puts her at seventh best in a single season in Corban history…The 6’0 senior secured 115 blocks this season with .96 blocks per set…Third best in the program for career attack percentage of .313…Sixth highest in the program for career blocks per set of .92…Member of the 2024 Corban Volleyball team that finished the season with a 27-6 overall record, 19-3 in conference play and became regular season champions. Qualified for the NAIA National Championship Final Site for the ninth-straight season ending as national semifinalists and No. 4-overall team ranking to end the year.

2023: Securing 69 kills in the fall season Schmidtke had .91 kills per set and a kill percentage of .228…the 6’0 redshirt sophomore tallied a total of 75 blocks with .99 blocks per set… Member of the 2023 Corban Volleyball team that finished the season with a 28-7 overall record, 19-3 in conference play. Qualified for the NAIA National Championship Final Site for the eighth-straight season with an All-American student-athlete and No. 7-overall team ranking to end the year.

2022: Sophomore member of the 2022 Corban Volleyball squad that finished as the National Runner-Up in the NAIA, the highest team finish in program history. The Warriors finished with 33 wins, the most in a single season, while sweeping their way to an NAIA National Championship appearance… Appeared in eight sets this season… notched five kills in just 11 attempts… tallied three digs and three blocks as well...

2021: Freshman member of the top sixteen finishing Warrior squad. Corban won the conference regular season and the conference tournament before heading to the NAIA Final Site for the sixth-straight time. The 2021 Warriors had the most wins in a season since 1999 (30) and the broke the Cascade Collegiate Conference record for wins in conference play with 20…appeared in 33 sets...notched 36 kills on a .444 clip and was in on 26 blocks in 16 matches.

Personal: Schmidtke, a dual sport athlete, played volleyball and ran track for South Albany High School. On the court, she was named Honorable Mention All-League in 2019 and First-Team All-League in 2021. Schmidtke was voted Most Inspirational by her teammates in the 2019 and 2020 seasons, a testament to her natural leadership. Also, Schmidtke played club volleyball for several high-profile teams, including the G3 Volleyball Club.

During her time at Corban, Schmidtke plans to study business and communication.
