BOX SCORE
PORTLAND, Ore. – Senior
Ben Potloff (Keizer, Ore.) and sophomore
Erik Cronrath (Battle Ground, Wash.) scored 25 points each on a combined 16-for-32 shooting from the field, but it was not enough as Corban's men's basketball team fell to conference rival Concordia, 108-92, Friday night inside Cavalier Gymnasium.
With the loss, Corban falls to 6-19 overall and 1-13 in Cascade Collegiate Conference play. Meanwhile, Concordia improves to 15-9 overall and 5-8 in league action.

Meanwhile, Cronrath shot 6-for-13 from the field to go along with an amazing 13-for-14 effort at the free throw line.
Along with the aforementioned duo, two other Warriors – juniors

Corban would open the game on a 9-4 run that was capped by a Keene three-pointer with 17:10 remaining before Concordia used a 12-7 run to knot the game at 16-all with just under 13 minutes left. Both teams would battle back and forth over the next nine-plus minutes until the score was tied at 43-43 with 3:10 on the clock. The host Cavaliers would use a half-closing 11-7 run en route to securing a four-point lead (54-50) at intermission, as Potloff hit a buzzer-beating jumper in the paint for the final points of the half.
In the second half, Concordia would quickly extend its lead to double digits (65-55) thanks to an opening 11-5 run that ended with a Gage Aker lay-in with 17:31 left. Corban would get as close as four points (65-61) via a 6-0 run that included another jumper in the paint by Potloff with just under 16 minutes to go. Unfortunately for the visiting Warriors, Concordia would not allow them to get any closer as the host Cavaliers extended their lead to a game-high 18 points (108-90) via a 40-29 run over a 14-plus minute span. Cronrath would close out the game's scoring with a pair of free throws to cut the Warriors' deficit to 16 points (108-92) at the final buzzer.
Concordia was led by Alex Tiefenthaler, who registered game-high totals of 42 points on 16-for-22 shooting from the field and 12 rebounds.
