The aforementioned duo combined to shoot 12-for-27 from the field and 7-for-14 from beyond the three-point line, while junior Jake Mauermann (Clackamas, Ore.) and two other Warriors – junior Jonathan Ramirez (New Britain, Conn.) and sophomore Jacob Kopra (Gresham, Ore.) – added 13, 9, and 9 points respectively. On the boards, Carter pulled down a game-high nine rebounds to go along with a game-high four assists by junior Erik Cronrath (Battle Ground, Wash.).

In the opening half, Corban would run out to a four-point lead (13-9) in the first five minutes before Southern Oregon battled back to take a two-point lead (15-13) via a 6-0 run over a span of 90 seconds. Neither team would grab more than a four-point advantage over the next 13 minutes until Carter knocked down a three-pointer to give Corban a six-point edge (42-36) at the 1:53 mark. The visiting Warriors would push their lead to as much as seven points (47-40) after a three-pointer by freshman Josiah Sebens (Bellingham, Wash.) before Corban settled for a six-point halftime lead (47-41).

The second half would be a comeback affair for Southern Oregon, as the host Raiders used an opening 25-19 run en route to securing a three-point lead (66-63) after back-to-back Jordan Highland lay-ins with the final one coming at the 9:36 mark. Over the next six minutes, Southern Oregon would extend its lead to five points (78-73) via a 12-10 run that concluded with a Joe White lay-up with just under four minutes left in regulation. Over the next three-and-a-half minutes, Corban would fight back to tie the game for the seventh time at 83-all thanks to a pair of Carter free throws with 30 seconds left. The final 30 seconds would be a battle between both team's head coaches, as neither team could put another point on the board that included a last-second shot by Logan that could not find the bottom of the net therefore resulting in the Warriors' fifth overtime game of the season.

A 7-0 run in the opening three-plus minutes of overtime would be all that Southern Oregon needed, as the host Raiders doubled up Corban in the extra frame resulting in a seven-point victory (97-90).

SOU was led in scoring by Kyle Tedder, who tallied a game-high 26 points to go along with a 24-point effort from Highland to go along with his team-high eight rebounds. Dex Daum also added 15 points, while three Raiders – Drew Herrera, White, and Daum – handed out a team-high three assists each.
