Claire Bailey recorded a team-high eight kills, as Corban's women's volleyball team concluded its season with a three-set loss against the NAIA's No. 23-ranked The College of Idaho, 3-0 (9-25, 15-25, 17-25), Saturday inside the J.A. Albertson Activity Center.
Corban (7-22, 3-15 CCC) would get kills from six different players, as Bailey led the Warriors' offense with five other Corban hitters – senior

Haley Meili handed out a team-high 13 assists for the Warriors, while junior libero
Katherine Salness anchored Corban's back line with nine digs to go along with a team-high two blocks by Harman.
The College of Idaho (16-9, 16-2 CCC) was led offensively and defensively by Liz Myers with match-high totals of 13 kills and five blocks, while Elisha Brochado added nine kills for the host Coyotes. Sierra Porter handed out a match-high 38 assists for C of I, while Janel Porter registered a match-high 15 kills for the host team.
In the opening set, The College of Idaho broke a 2-2 tie with a 15-5 run resulting in a 17-7 lead on a kill by Kylee Nawahine. C of I would close out the set by getting three service aces from Sofia Anxo as well as kills by Myers and Brochado en route earning a 25-9 victory.
Set #2 would begin with The College of Idaho building a 10-point lead (19-9) on a kill by Porter before Corban used a 6-2 run to pull within six points (21-15) on a combo block by Harman and Shropshire. C of I would close out the set on a 4-0 run with back-to-back kills by Nawahine to secure a two-set lead with a 25-15 victory.
The third and final set saw Corban jump out to an 11-8 lead that forced The College of Idaho to call a timeout. After the break in action, C of I scored five unanswered points en route to earning a 13-11 lead before both teams battled to a 16-16 tie on a kill by Wilcox. A 2-0 run by the host Coyotes followed by a serving miscue by C of I would result in an 18-17 lead for the home team. After C of I's service error, The College of Idaho closed out the set and match on a 7-0 run to earn the 25-17 victory and three-set sweep over the Warriors.
After its final match of the season, Corban now turns its attention to the 2014 season with head coach
Tracy Smith returning nine players from this year's team.
